tiny wins. ♡

A list of tiny wins. . .

Inspired by Man Repeller: in celebration of small victories.
1. When it isn’t cloudy.
2. When your avocado is actually ripe.
3. When your zipper doesn’t get stuck.
4. When you don’t trip.
5. When you’re actually excited to go to the gym.
6. When you’re not feeling queasy.
7. When a restaurant doesn’t mess up your *~special~* order.
8. When you don’t get a paper cut.
9. When your phone has enough storage space, so you don’t have to delete anything.
10. When you feel like you’re going to get sick, but then you don’t.

Liza

Loving Lately: 12.09.16 ♡

It’s (somehow?!) the last Loving Lately of 2016! Here are four things I’m super into rn…#4 is definitely my fav. 😉

1. International Delight Frosted Sugar Cookie Coffee Creamer.

So…I drink coffee now. Instead of walking to Starbucks every morning and getting a Spiced Sweet Cream Cold Brew or an iced double shot with coconut milk, I’ve been making caffeinated concoctions at home. My go-to ATM involves coffee, lots of cinnamon, and flavored coffee creamer, specifically International Delight’s new seasonal Frosted Sugar Cookie creamer. OMG. It literally tastes like liquified Christmas cookies. Best discovery ever. So yeah, I add the stuff to coffee, duh, but it also makes an amazing addition to a lazy girl frozen hot chocolate I make in the Vitamix–just an instant hot chocolate packet, ice, water, and a generous pour of this creamer and you have the easiest faux-gourmet treat around. My Favorite Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Self-Care Rituals

self-care-ideas

By now, we all know that self care is of paramount importance. It’s been a mainstay on this very blog since I started writing. A lot of stories that center on self care, though, seem to focus on great big things people can do to care for themselves–things that can take up a lot of time, energy, and/or money. In my opinion, however, self care should be a DAILY thing. And a weekly thing. And a monthly thing. Seriously, guys; we should be treating ourselves well as frequently as possible. But how?! Like THIS. (If you’re me, anyway.) Here are a few self-care rituals I do each day, week, and month…feel free to make them yours! 😉  (more…)

whistlefit-sweat-pink

Let’s talk pups. My dogs, Phillip and Chauncey, are the absolute loves of my life. I waited nearly 22 years before getting my first furry pet, and Phillip, my five-year-old bichon-shih tzu mix is quite literally the best gift I’ve ever received. Since I’m pretty much your standard crazy dog lady, I was crazy excited when Fit Approach gave me the opportunity to partner with Whistle for their Whistle Fit campaign. Since I’ve spent the past few weeks being extra active with my boys and playing around with the Whistle GPS Pet Tracker, I thought that now would be the perfect time to share my review of the awesome device with you guys! (Plus, I have a coupon code and a giveaway for you, too.) Wanna get #WhistleFit with your pet?! Read on! Here are all of the details. (more…)

Things I’m Excited About This Week!

so-excited-rnI’m a big believer in the importance of having things to look forward to. Anticipation is a powerful thing! One of the best parts about the feeling of anticipation, in my opinion, is the feeling of excitement that goes along with it. Really, is there any better feeling than being really and truly EXCITED about something? I think not. It’s great. Excitement is also a pretty personal thing…you can find out a lot about a person if you can figure out what kind of things excite them, even if the person in question is you. In that spirit, here’s the second installment of my omgSOexcited series! Here are a few things I’m excited about & looking forward to this week.
