Bliss balls–the combination of nut butter + sweetener + seeds or oats + a sweet extra–are a staple of the fit girl diet. They’re delicious, highly portable {gotta love eating on the go!} and ridiculously easy to make. From post-gym snacks to a healthy take on sweets, they’re pretty much a must. I’ve experimented with bliss balls a few times–some of my favorite combinations include flax seed, honey, vanilla, and peanut butter with dark chocolate chips, almond butter, hemp hearts, and dried cranberries with a little maple syrup, and sunbutter with coconut, cacao, and goji berries. Thanks to my partnership with Sweat Pink, though, I was recently introduced to Mighty Nut powdered peanut butter, and with Mighty Nut, I think I’ve found my favorite combination of bliss-level ingredients EVER. Bonus: I have a new take on the bliss ball thing entirely! Bliss BITES. Frozen peanut butter bliss bites, that is. It’s only two ingredients, it’s insanely simple, and it tastes like frosting mixed with ice cream. Uh huh, honey. Here’s the breakdown.

  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 TBS Mighty Nut powdered peanut butter

  1. Combine Greek yogurt and Mighty Nut and mix until smooth.
  2. Spoon scoops of mixture into a muffin tin, and freeze for a minimum of 1.5 hours.
  3. Enjoy!

...That’s instant portion control, a hit of protein, and a sweet-tooth tamer all in one.

PS: if you’re dairy-free or vegan, you can have icy, peanut-buttery goodness by using a couple of frozen bananas and a food processor instead of the Greek yogurt. Top your “nice cream” with some cacao nibs and you’re golden. You can also pour either variety of said mixture into popsicle molds and freeze them for the most decadent ice lollies ever.

Seriously though, whether or not you’re considering making these bites, go out and get some powdered peanut butter! Here are all of the details on my new fave, Mighty Nut!

Peanut Butter & Co just launched Mighty Nut, their new powdered peanut butter! Each batch of Mighty Nut is created from quality USA grown peanuts. The peanuts are roasted, then pressed, to remove most of the fat.  What remains is protein, fiber and delicious peanut buttery taste.  Mighty Nut powdered peanut butter can be rehydrated and used as a spread or dip, or as an ingredient in baking, cooking or smoothies. It has 85% less fat calories than traditional peanut butter, contains between 5g-6g of protein, and only 1g-1.5g of fat.
