New month, new links!

I’m branching out a little from just fitness and health to highlighting all things lifestyle {which only makes sense–that is the TSB way!} this month. I’m always enamored with “things you should read” and “link love” posts on other blogs, so I hope you all enjoy mine, too. Up next, we’ve got fashion, beauty, health, fitness, and self-image…All curated and compiled as I avoided cleaning my closet 😉 Ready? Here are my favorite finds of the past few weeks.

FOOD

1. First up, from Pinch of Yum, 24 Healthy Groceries You Need to Try from Target. So many goodies! As if I needed another reason to make a Target trip!

2. Brit + Co profiled a really interesting app that visually shows you exactly what 200 calories looks like. If you’re into food/nutrition/general health and flawless photography, check this out!

3. Speaking of foodNylon rounded up 8 recipes every adult should know how to make. Full disclosure: I can make maybe three of these. Totally bookmarked this.

4. Oh, and brb, basically dying over this vegan caesar salad that Refinery29 posted.

5. Still confused about the difference between sugar and high-fructose corn syrup? This little video {and accompanying post} from The Washington Post breaks things down in a super-simple, entertaining way.

FASHION + BEAUTY

6. Boy beauty bloggers are officially a thing. Didn’t you know? Check out Yahoo’s list of 8 must-watch dudes, and educate yourself ASAP. I’m a decidedly girly girl, and I got lost in Alpha M YouTube videos {he’s #7 on this list} for a few hours last week–he’s that good.

7. Creeper alert! I’m weirdly into this 40-image slideshow of models working out on Instagram, c/o ELLE. #fitspo

8. Spring is here, and Racked has your back with a MAJOR post on the trendiest pieces to stock your closet with for the new season.

9. Brandy Melville has gotten a lot of negative press about their one-size-fits-all {read: SMALL} clothing offerings over the past few months, but this piece from Ravishly’s Amanda Lauren highlights a decidedly conflicting, opinion.

WELLBEING

10. An oldie-but-goodie from Thought Catalog: 11 Life Hacks for the Emotionally Struggling 20-Something. Take care of yoursefl!

11. More mental health goodness, this time from Tumblr’s Eponis: Everything Is Awful and I’m Not Okay: Questions to Ask Before Giving Up. Full of good things and coping strategies to keep in mind.

12. Ugh. File this under GROSS: A website used a woman’s anorexia photo in an “amazing” weight loss transformation slideshow, and BuzzFeed has the details. So wrong, but again, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU POST!

13. Is being “busy” a self-inflicted disease? Really interesting stuff on stress, overwhelm, and being busy from On Being.

14. Finally, I’ve been crazy into The Financial Diet as of late, and I loved this list of 25 things you can do right now to improve your finances by Bridget Casey. Easy to read, easy to implement, age appropriate. Good stuff.

What are you loving lately? Any stories to share?

xx,

Liza
