You guys. I can’t believe it’s March. I also can’t believe I’ve made it through nearly 30 straight days of yoga! Woo!! #TakeTheLeap wraps up TOMORROW–seems like that happened REALLY fast. I’ve loved incorporating a little om into my daily routine. I get excited to check out the #taketheleap tag on Insta, to see people attempting the poses from the challenge, and to browse through the blog features and Facebook posts of the my fellow SweatPink challengers. 30 Days of Yoga has been really wonderful, and I’m super grateful to have had the opportunity to participate. 10/10 would do it again.

A lil peek at my prAna goodies!

Today, instead of solely talking about my personal practice and my fav yoga resources of the moment {see my past weekly recap posts for those!}, I wanted to take a minute to show off the super cute yoga ensemble gifted to me by prAna! The entire Take The Leap challenge was started in part to celebrate the launch of the brand’s spring 2015 line, and the lovely people at prAna were awesome enough to provide me with a complete outfit from their killer new collection. I selected their “Dreaming” top and “Juniper” bottoms. Love is an understatement.

While I’m pretty much always down to drop a semi-ridiculous sum of money on a great pair of yoga pants, I’ve never actually purchased a high-quality exercise top, so I was especially excited to get the chance to get my hands on one from prAna, and the one I was sent–the Dreaming top–didn’t disappoint. Not only is the top incredibly flattering, but it’s also really functional, featuring a built-in bra and perfect non-slip construction. It doesn’t ride up when you move and it doesn’t dig in. The styling is perfection, the back detail is eye-catching and cool, and the material is stretchy and perfect. It looks just as flawless with a pair of yoga shorts as it does with jeans. Love that.

With the Juniper pants, I took another style leap! I’ll elaborate: typically, when it comes to yoga pants, I opt for tights,  capris, or leggings. Black. The skinnier, the better. The Juniper pants are pretty much the exact opposite of that–they’re fit-and-flare, pattern-covered, jewel-toned bell bottoms…and since 70s styles are currently trending, they’re surprisingly wearable both inside and outside of the yoga studio. The fit is on point–as a taller girl {5’8″-ish to be exact} I was a little nervous that the pants would be too short on me, but they’re pretty much the perfect length! The Juniper pants are my personal passport to feeling like a boho yoga babe whenever I put them on. My favorite way to {street} style them is with a plain white tee and lots of jewelry.

SO. CUTE.

Aesthetics and functionality aside, prAna is unique in that their company is focused on sustainability. Their clothing uses organic fabrics, recycled textiles, and natural fibers, and their minimal-waste packaging is also fashioned from recycled materials. You can find out more about prAna’s sustainability efforts HERE. It’s basically the granola girl’s dream. The Dreaming top is made in part from recycled polyester, and the Juniper pants are hemp and organic cotton. Sustainable and stylish. I HIGHLY recommend getting some goods of your own. Remember, you can use code “PSPS15TSB” for 15% off your entire prAna purchase!

So what’s next?! For one, I’ll definitely be rocking my prAna gear, listening to my body, and adding yoga into my weekly workout mix as it feels right. I’ve heard great things about Elle Fit Active’s “Get Bendy” program, so that’s probably something I’ll get into if I’m craving the structure of a daily yoga regiment. A long-term goal, potentially, is to take on 500-hour yoga teacher training! Certified yoga babe status. Maybe. We’ll see. For now, I’m super content to soak up all of the yoga vibes, info, classes, and clothing that cross my path and come my way. It is, after all, the namaste way. 😉

xx,

Liza
