I totally can’t believe that we’re more than halfway through the prAna and Sweat Pink 30 Days of Yoga challenge, #TakeTheLeap!

Anyway, I’m still practicing on the daily. Some days, I honestly only do a five minute flow based on a pictorial I find on Pinterest. Sometimes, it’s a quick and functional practice guided by a Tara Stiles YouTube video. Still others, I’ll do a 40-minute follow along routine from Yoga Download. I do yoga each and  every day, but I do it in a way that fits in with my life, schedule, and other workouts {because yeah, I definitely didn’t give up my daily date with my Nikes, either #runnershigh}. I feel more balanced, more still, and oddly enough, more fulfilled. Oh, and I’m getting stronger. It’s such a cool feeling!

As I touched on last week, what I’m loving most about yoga–and particularly about this challenge–is that it’s something that is entirely non-competitive, and just for ME. I soak up every little tidbit of info I can get on yoga, but I don’t compare myself to accomplished yoga teachers or super-flexible, beautiful, yoga babes of Instagram. I’m new to it. I don’t have to be perfect at it. Yoga is something I get to do that’s just for me. It’s a way to take care of myself, mind//body//soul. I’m into that.
