I’m a major fan of extra-positive Sunday night vibes. I mean, the week officially restarts TODAY, so setting yourself up with good intentions just feels…Right. And right now? Well, these words are speaking to me on a lot of different levels. I’m going to be real with you all right now: I’m one of those people who, unfortunately, really only likes to try new things if I can be good at them. While I realize that this is not a particularly attractive trait, I also think that it’s something a lot of people–women especially–seem to struggle with. At times, it feels like there’s nothing worse than being bad at something. Than being a beginner. It’s just so…awkward. Embarrassing. Things should come naturally. It should be effortless! Buuut that’s totally not how life works. And **spoiler alert** that’s okay! Just because you’re not instantly perfect at whatever it is you’re attempting doesn’t mean that you suck as a person. There’s literally no reason to be hard on yourself for not being instantly excellent. Give yourself time. Take it in. Don’t get discouraged. Own your “beginner” status.
